About this opportunity

The notice indicated the VA's intent to award the contract to Phigenics, LLC under FAR 6.302-1 for Legionella potable water testing at the Louisville, Kentucky VA Medical Center. The original intent was to procure maintenance and support services for Legionella potable water testing to maintain the Rex Robley VA Medical Center Lexington in accordance with VA policy water testing standards. The contract was structured as a base year from May 4, 2026 through May 3, 2027 with two optional one-year extensions. Interested vendors were required to submit written responses by April 29, 2026 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time to Contracting Officer Daphne Stewart at Daphne.Stewart@va.gov. All interested parties were required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) per FAR Clause 52.232-33, and the Government stated it would not be responsible for any costs incurred by vendors in responding to the notice.
