About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort McCoy is soliciting grounds maintenance services across four Michigan locations: Fraser, Inkster, Livonia, and Southfield. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and related services to perform comprehensive grounds maintenance as detailed in the Performance Work Statement. This solicitation falls under the Landscaping Services NAICS code (561730) and Housekeeping-Landscaping/Groundskeeping PSC category (S208). The contract is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, limiting competition to small business entities. The proposal deadline is March 9, 2026, with the solicitation having been posted on February 19, 2026, and an amendment issued on March 3, 2026.
The contract period of performance consists of one base year running from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027, followed by four optional 12-month renewal periods and a potential six-month extension, allowing for up to 4.5 years of total contract performance. The services will be performed at the four designated Michigan military installations, with the specific contract value and detailed performance requirements outlined in the complete Performance Work Statement. As a small business set-aside, only firms meeting small business size standards for the Landscaping Services NAICS category are eligible to compete for this opportunity. The solicitation does not identify any incumbent contractor, suggesting this may be a new requirement or a re-competition opportunity. Interested small businesses should review the complete solicitation documents and Performance Work Statement to understand the full scope of grounds maintenance responsibilities across all four locations.
