About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command is soliciting quotes for grounds maintenance services at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina. Required services include maintaining improved, semi-improved, and unimproved turf areas both on and off the airfield, as well as pruning shrubs, fertilization, weed control, maintaining special landscape beds, and litter policing. Quotes will be evaluated based on factors described in the SF1449 request for quote, with questions due by January 15, 2021 and quotes due by January 25, 2021.

The solicitation is set aside for HUBZone small businesses. The NAICS code is 561730 and PSC code S206. The incumbent contractor previously provided these services. The place of performance is Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina, with services required for 500 acres of improved, semi-improved, and unimproved grounds from March 2021 through February 2024. Change 4 - Amendment 0003 - The purpose of this amendment is to update the Performance Work Statement (PWS), updating section L, and updating CLIN's 0005, 1005, and 2005. The conformed solicitation shows this change. The conformed solicitation, CLIN schedule, and the Contractor questions and answers were added to the attachments. The CLIN schedule can be used in lieu of the 1449 fir submitting your quote.

Change 1 - A site visit has been scheduled for 12 January 2021 at 10:00 a.m. (EST).  Attendees shall meet at the Seymour Johnson AFB Visitors Center, 1050 Wright Brothers Ave, Seymour Johnson AFB NC 27531.   The Van is scheduled to begin loading at 09:35 a.m., depart at 9:45 a.m; then proceed to the Site Visit Location.  The intent of the visit is to drive around the base and show locations of the required work. Please bring a mask to be worn while in the Van.  

ONLY ONE SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD.
