The Department of the Army is seeking capability statements from qualified businesses to assess potential sources for these services. Interested firms must submit a five-page capability package by March 6, 2025, at 4:30 PM EST, detailing their company information, small business status, DUNS and CAGE codes, and past performance experience with similar services. Responses should be emailed to Contract Specialist David J. Wigtil, with a copy to David L. Gecewicz. All questions regarding the opportunity must be submitted by March 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST, and companies are advised to monitor SAM.gov for any future solicitation updates.
The pre-solicitation notice is specifically designated as an 8(a) Sole Source set-aside for small businesses, targeting the NAICS code 561790 (Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings) with a size standard of $9.0M. Potential contractors must indicate their interest in competing as a prime contractor and outline any subcontracting, joint venture, or teaming arrangements. While no specific award value is mentioned, the notice emphasizes that this is a market research exercise and does not guarantee a contract will be issued. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) is available for review, and companies are encouraged to demonstrate their capability to perform the required services. Importantly, the government stresses that this notice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to procure services or issue a formal solicitation.
