Place of performance spans six locations across three Arkansas towns: Erbie Road (6,200 tons, Marble Falls), Erbie Campground/Entrance Road (1,260 tons, Marble Falls), Bakers Ford Road (2,750 tons, St. Joe), Shine Eye Road (700 tons, St. Joe), Spring Creek Road (540 tons, Harriat), and North Maumee Road (900 tons, Harriat), totaling 12,350 tons. Gravel must be Class 7 aggregate base course stone, 1 inch in diameter and smaller per SB2 specifications, procured from a certified ARDOT-approved supplier. Delivery is via tailgate method along park roads ranging 1.5 to 5 miles from the park boundary; materials will be delivered in front of park service graders without stockpiling. Contractor must provide an updated proctor from the proposed quarry documenting compaction and gradation compliance. Performance must be completed within 90 days of award. Vendor coordinates weekly deliveries with Park Maintenance Staff, scheduled by the prior Friday.
This is a firm-fixed-price commercial acquisition under FAR Part 12. Contractor must obtain a Unique Entity Identifier and maintain active SAM registration at time of quote, award, and throughout performance. Award is anticipated within 10 days of quote receipt. Evaluation uses lowest-price technically acceptable methodology in groups of three starting with lowest-priced offers. Contractor liability insurance must be at least $100,000 per person, $500,000 per occurrence, and $500,000 property damage. Amendment 0002 (effective August 3) revised specifications and the price schedule to correct delivery quantity discrepancies and extended the closing date to August 11.

This announcement is to amend the solicitation to post further revised Specifications (8/03/2026) and a revised Price Schedule for all interested parties for Gravel Delivery for Buffalo National River. Revisions are to correct discrepancies in the delivery quantities between the SF1449 and Specifications.
Additionally, the Solicitation closing date is being extended to August 11, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET.
The solicitation and any amendments can be found and retrieved on SAM.gov.
Please complete the SF Form 1449 as instructed. All amendments must also be read, signed and returned as instructed in the SF30 Amendment form on SAM.gov - one copy provided in offers submittal package. Offers may be submitted to Jarrod Brown via email: jarrod_brown@ios.doi.gov.

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT FOR REQUEST FOR QUOTE. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) Solicitation issued on Standard Form (SF) 1449. Award of this contract will be made according to FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. All references to ¿proposal¿ in this solicitation shall be understood to mean ¿quotation.¿ Quotations shall be evaluated in an impartial manner and consideration given to those with the highest perceived value to the government.
