About this opportunity

The National Park Service (NPS), through its Contracting Operations Central (ConOps Central) and Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), issued Special Notice DOIPFBO250035 on December 1, 2025, inviting contractors to participate in an Industry Day and Project Outreach event. This special notice was published by the Department of the Interior's National Park Service Intermountain Region and classified under the Commercial and Institutional Building Construction category (NAICS 236220). The event took place on December 10, 2025, at the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center in Moose, Wyoming, and was designed to provide contractors with direct information regarding upcoming federal contracting opportunities. The notice includes detailed driving directions from Jackson, Wyoming, to the venue and serves as a platform for open discussion about future projects in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines.

The primary purpose of this Industry Day and Project Outreach event was to inform contractors about preliminary projects planned for 2027 and beyond at Grand Teton National Park, with the NPS anticipating over $60 million in construction work during 2026-2027. Interested contractors were required to RSVP to molly_lynam@nps.gov at least 24 hours before the December 10, 2025 event, with no specific eligibility restrictions mentioned for contractor participation. Key projects presented included the Moose Entrance Station Phase II Historic Building Rehabilitation, Mormon Row Visitor Contact Building, Colter Bay Pedestrian Rehab, Jenny Lake Lodge Lift Station, String Lake Comfort Station Rehab, and various other infrastructure and historic preservation initiatives, with estimated project magnitudes ranging from $5-$10 million each. The NPS emphasized that all information presented was preliminary and subject to change, directing contractors to monitor SAM.gov for official solicitations of these opportunities as they become available.
