The procurement requires GreenGuard Gold certified carpet with a minimum 40-ounce face weight and five-year warranty, along with 7/16" thick padding and ADA-compliant transition strips in silver or brass. Contractors must complete floor preparation, carpet removal, and disposal, with each service order requiring completion within 14 days of placement during regular business hours (8am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday, excluding federal holidays). Work will be performed in vacant units ranging from 500-1700 square feet, with the contractor responsible for all labor, materials, travel, and equipment necessary for installation. Questions regarding this combined synopsis/solicitation must be submitted electronically to lindsay_mclaughlin@nps.gov no later than July 22, 2025, at 10:00am Mountain Time, with quotes due by August 7, 2025, at 10:00am Mountain Time.

The anticipated maximum BPA value is not expected to exceed $300,000 over the five-year ordering period, with an estimated 60 units potentially serviced (approximately 12 per year) out of 400 total rental housing units. The pricing schedule includes South Rim carpet installation occurring 10 times per year for units of 250-500 square feet and North Rim installations twice per year for similar-sized units, with 1-4 task orders expected to be issued annually. Performance will take place at Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, specifically at residential housing facilities located at both the North and South Rims.
