Questions and Government Responses listed below:

Question # Question Answer/Response 1 Could you kindly share the precise address or detailed location of the project site?

Grand Canyon National Park, 400+ rental units, various addresses with the area cannot give specific. 1 to 3 bedroom homes ranging from 500 sqft to 1700sqft 2 If available, a floor plan would be immensely helpful in better understanding the project scope.

Each Address has different floor plans when placing a call information will be provided at that time, no standard floor plans.

3 Are there any specific brand requirements, or should we source materials that most closely align with the specifications outlined in the scope?

Not Brand Specific, but MUST meet specifications outlined

4 After further research, was not able to find any carpet products that are GREENGUARD Gold certified. However, we do have a product that is CRI Green Label Plus+ certified, which, like GREENGUARD Gold, also focuses on low VOC emissions and indoor air quality standards.

Would a product with CRI Green Label Plus+ certification be considered an acceptable alternative for this requirement?

Green Guard or CRI Green Label PLUS+ Only

5 Are there any plans or schedules available for the housing units where carpet installation is required?

Carpet is replaced in homes generally after a tenant vacates a location, rarely is home still occupied.

6 How many housing units are expected to be serviced at a time?

This number can vary, typically 1-3 at a time. This depends on turn over of residents moving out and if units need carpet replaced.

7 What is the estimated total number of units anticipated over the five-year contract period?

Estimated 60 Units based on 12 houses a year over 5 years.

However, this number can vary up and down based on length of time tenant is in a residence.

8 Will this solicitation include a site visit? No. There will not be a site visit scheduled for this requirement.

9 Is there any incumbent contractor currently performing this work? If so, who is it?

GRCA does not have an incumbent.

Previous service was conducted and paid for their Government Purchase

Card.

10 Are floor preparation services required prior to carpet installation? (e.g., leveling, removal of existing adhesives, subfloor repair)

Yes

11 Will the government remove existing carpet before installation, or is the contractor responsible for both removal and disposal?

Contractor is responsible

12 What type(s) of carpet are to be installed? (e.g., brand, fiber type, pile height, padding specs)

Carpet:

- Minimum 40oz face weight.

- Green Guard Gold certified product.

- Product warranty for minimum of five years.

Padding:

- 7/16” thickness.

15 What is the square footage of each unit? Various 500-1700 sqft (400 units) 16 Will there be a site visit conducted at the north and south rims No site visits
