About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Fort Worth seeks to lease two 40-foot boat slips in the Lewisville, Texas area, with responses due November 30, 2026. The notice is a sources-sought, request-for-information-style inquiry to identify capable lessors, the Set Aside line reads "No Set-Aside Used," and a formal solicitation or lease agreement may follow.
The notice's place of performance field lists Flower Mound, TX 75077, while the requirement calls for slips at Lewisville Lake or immediately adjacent marina facilities, which are preferred. Each slip must accommodate a vessel up to 40 feet, with year-round wet slip access and reasonable ingress and egress for government vessels. Preferred features include electrical power (minimum 30-amp service), water access, and secure docking, and covered or uncovered slips will be considered. The Government anticipates a multi-year lease with options, with the exact term and commencement date to be negotiated. The Government reserves the right to inspect proposed slips before award.
Respondents must provide evidence of ownership or authority to lease, current marina rules and regulations, available amenities, insurance requirements, and any restrictions on vessel type or operations. Responses must include the physical description of the slips, photos or a site plan if available, proposed monthly or annual lease rate and additional fees, utilities and amenities, lease term flexibility and earliest availability date, and point of contact information. Submission is electronic, via the method designated in the formal SAM.gov notice. The Government will not pay response costs.
Three attached files, a rental proposal worksheet, USACE recruiting lease form L100, and GSA Template 3517B general clauses, have derived summaries that describe building-space leases with NNN operating costs, not boat slips. The notice text defines the requirement.
The notice is coded NAICS 713930, Marinas, and PSC X1AZ, Lease/Rental of Other Administrative Facilities and Service Buildings.
