About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of State Office of Acquisition Management is seeking contractors to provide capacity building assistance for the Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) in Tanzania. The contract will require an in-country team lead, senior and specialty trainers, and technical trainers to support various training activities, including pre-deployment training for peacekeeping forces, jungle operations training, and the procurement and delivery of training equipment. Key contract objectives include building the Tanzania People's Defense Force's capacity to prepare, deploy, and sustain effective peacekeeping forces. Proposals are due by July 25, 2024, and the contract will be a hybrid with firm-fixed price and cost-reimbursement components.
This solicitation is set aside for small businesses. The place of performance will primarily be in Tanzania. While the total contract value is not specified, the contract has a one-year base period with three 12-month option periods. The required training, personnel, and equipment support services are detailed in the Statement of Work, and offerors must comply with specialized vehicle and equipment procurement restrictions under the Foreign Assistance Act.
