About this opportunity

The Department of Justice's Bureau of Prisons (UNICOR) is issuing a Request for Information on Gimmal ERP Link Subscription services, with responses due July 22, 2026, under a Total Small Business set-aside. The solicitation seeks an authorized re-seller or distributor of Gimmal LLC capable of delivering User Experience and Adoption, Governance, Compliance, and Business Application Interoperability as an integrated offering, rather than disaggregated across multiple vendors. Gimmal ERP-Link software links Microsoft SharePoint and SAP platforms for document and content management, allowing organizations to manage SAP content through SharePoint as a single Enterprise Content Management platform without requiring a separate ECM system.

Performance is located at UNICOR's Management Information Systems Branch in Washington, DC. Responses must be submitted by email to Michael Gibson (michael.gibson@usdoj.gov) and Aaron Mitchell (aaron.mitchell2@usdoj.gov) no later than 11:00 AM EST on July 22, 2026. Respondents should provide company name, telephone, fax, email address, business size designation (Large, Small, or Socio-economic category), and any other pertinent information. This RFI does not commit the government to a particular course of action, guarantee consideration in any future procurement, or provide compensation for response costs.

Notice text

Subject: The Contractor is to provide services for Gimmal ERP Link Subscription
The primary objective of this RFI will be used by the Contracting Staff to develop an acquisition strategy to seek a contractor that can provide the following:
The company must be an authorized re-seller/distributor of Gimmal LLC and is to offer User Experience and Adoption, Governance, Compliance and Business Application Interoperability from one company and not to piecemeal these items from different companies. Gimmal ERP-Link allows SAP content to be managed against a complete content lifecycle in SharePoint as the single ECM platform/repository, and negates the requirement for an additional ECM system to be purchased and implemented to support information management and enhanced business process management. Gimmal ERP-Link Software provides a critical link between Microsoft and SAP platforms for the purpose of document management.
