About this opportunity

The General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service is seeking to lease office and related space in West Palm Beach, Florida within the Central Business District. The prospective lessor must provide a stand-alone building or modern office facility on an attractively-landscaped site with a professional and prestigious appearance, ranging from 20,915 to 21,000 rentable square feet. GSA has established specific security and safety requirements, including prohibitions against locating the facility in the immediate vicinity of hazardous materials transportation or storage facilities, within 1,000 feet of low-risk facilities such as schools or hospitals, and preferably excluding sites within 640 feet of bulk storage or rail yards. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on April 29, 2026, with a response deadline of May 21, 2026, providing interested parties approximately three weeks to submit their proposals. Evaluation criteria will focus on the facility's location, design standards, security compliance, and ability to meet GSA's operational requirements for a 15-year lease term.

This opportunity is not designated as a set-aside for any particular business category. The lease structure includes a firm term of 120 months (10 years) with an option term of 60 months (5 years), for a full lease period of 180 months (15 years). The facility must accommodate 66 total parking spaces, comprising 10 surface spaces and 56 structured spaces (with 12 reserved). While a specific budget or award value is not disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the rental obligation will be determined based on market rates for the specified West Palm Beach Central Business District location and the negotiated lease terms with the selected lessor. No incumbent contractor or current facility operator is identified in this announcement, suggesting either a new space requirement or relocation from an existing GSA-leased facility.
