Place of performance includes the National Water Quality Lab in Lakewood, Colorado and the Water Resources Discipline facility in Boulder, Colorado. The contractor shall furnish specialty gases in cylinders, dewars, or other containers as specified in the Statement of Work, with standard delivery within one working day of order issuance; custom mixtures require three working days. Deliveries occur between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Vendor-supplied and vendor-owned bulk tanks for Argon (1,500 gallons) and Nitrogen (3,200 gallons) are required at Building 95 with weekly fills. All cylinders and dewars must be labeled, tracked via bar codes, and meet DOT regulations and Compressed Gas Association standards. Personnel must possess valid Commercial Driver's licenses and hazardous materials certifications. Contractor must respond to equipment deficiencies within four hours by acknowledging the issue and dispatching qualified personnel, and must replace product loss from contractor equipment malfunction at no charge within eight working days.
The BPA carries a firm fixed-price not-to-exceed amount of $750,000 over the period September 14, 2026 through September 13, 2031, with any resulting call orders effective October 14, 2026 through October 13, 2031. The incumbent is General Air. Evaluation weighs past performance and customer representation (three references), product and product availability, cylinder control system capabilities, and timeliness and safety compliance significantly more than cost. NAICS 325120, PSC 6830.
