The solicitation does not have a specific small business set-aside designation and is open to all qualified Microsoft Licensing Service Providers. The contract will cover a five-year period from June 2025 to May 2030, consisting of a base year and four option years, with license quantities ranging from minimal numbers for specialized licenses to over 100,000 for complementary M365 EDU licenses. The place of performance is Montgomery, Alabama, with licenses to be delivered to the Air University Cloud Tenant. While specific incumbent contractors are not mentioned, market research was conducted among 12 certified LSPs, with five large businesses initially confirming their ability to fulfill the requirement. The procurement will enable continued use of software on Air University's standalone computers and servers, providing cloud-based applications and collaboration capabilities for students, faculty, and staff. The total contract value will span multiple years, supporting the organization's comprehensive software licensing needs.
