About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division (SWD), Tulsa District (SWT) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Park Mowing Services at Lake Eufaula, Oklahoma. The solicitation will seek a contractor to provide comprehensive landscape maintenance services for the park area. Evaluation criteria will include price, past performance, past experience, and possession of current herbicide applicators licenses for Oklahoma, Texas, or Kansas. Contractors must provide at least two examples of completed similar work of equal or larger size and scope, which can be from government or private sector experience. The bid will be formally issued via the PIEE website, with all amendments requiring contractor signature and submission, and the anticipated award date is set for March 20, 2025, with a response deadline of February 27, 2025.
The contract is designated as a 100% Small Business set-aside under NAICS Code 561730, with a small business size standard of $9,500,000. The resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price arrangement structured with one base period and four potential option periods, which can be exercised at the government's discretion. Contractors will need to demonstrate compliance with subcontracting regulations and have the appropriate credentials for landscape and herbicide management services. While specific contract value is not explicitly stated, the large small business size standard suggests potential for a substantial contract opportunity. The geographic scope encompasses park maintenance services specifically for the Lake Eufaula area in Oklahoma, with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers managing the procurement process.
