About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Hood seeks contractors to perform general repair and minor maintenance on Building 675 Clamshell and a relocatable indoor Shooting Range at Fort Riley's Soldier Recovery Unit. The scope of work includes comprehensive HVAC system service with filter changes, cleaning exterior air vents from debris, and correcting or replacing door closures and all hardware for push bars and locks on the northwest and northeast entries of the Clamshell building. The structures are non-traditional facilities - the Clamshell is a converted Large Area Maintenance Shelter (LAMS) tent and the shooting range is constructed from four 40-foot sea containers. The contract will be evaluated using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology, requiring contractors to submit a pricing matrix with their proposals. Amendment 2 extended the response deadline to August 20, 2025 at 10:00 AM CDT, while questions were originally due by August 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM CDT to specified Army email addresses.
This opportunity is set aside as a Total Small Business procurement under NAICS code 531312 (Nonresidential Property Managers) with a size standard of $19.5 million, though it was initially advertised as a Women-Owned Small Business set-aside. No incumbent contractors or specific award values are mentioned in the solicitation materials. The contract period of performance spans from August 11, 2025 to February 11, 2026, providing a six-month timeline for completion of the maintenance work. Work is restricted to standard business hours (0700-1600) Monday through Friday, with no work permitted on federal holidays. All services will be performed at Fort Riley, Kansas, specifically at the Soldier Recovery Unit facilities located at Building 675.
