About this opportunity

The Massachusetts Army National Guard's Recruiting & Retention Battalion is seeking a small business contractor to provide foreign document translation and credential evaluation services. The selected vendor will be responsible for translating foreign source identity and education documentation into English, with translations requiring certified translator signatures and adherence to professional standards from organizations like AICE or NACES. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and comply with credential evaluation guidelines recognized by the US Department of Education. The solicitation will be released on or about February 14, 2025, through beta.SAM.gov, with proposals expected to be reviewed shortly thereafter. The contract is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 541930 (Translation and Interpretation Services), with a small business size standard of $22.5M. The government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price purchase order with an initial performance period from March 5, 2025, through March 4, 2026, and potential for four additional option years. While no specific budget range is disclosed, the contract will require the contractor to complete translation and evaluation services within three business days of request, perform work at their own facility, and provide a dedicated contract manager and alternate manager. The procurement will be structured as a purchase order, with all solicitation documents, Performance Work Statement, and associated information available exclusively through the SAM.gov website.
