About this opportunity

NASA/NSSC issued a sources-sought notice on October 20, 2026, requesting capability statements for Flight Model Solar Array Wings by October 28, 2026, with a stated sole-source intent toward DHV Technology under FAR 12.102(a). The Government will evaluate submissions only to determine whether to conduct the procurement competitively; NASA retains discretion to proceed non-competitively.

Each Solar Array Wing contains 20 AZUR 3G30A solar cells with deployable hinges, thermal knife deployment system, connectors, temperature sensors, and diodes. Deliverables include the Flight Model with protective cover and transportation container, interface documentation, software, calibration data, user documentation, acceptance testing, and technical support during spacecraft integration. The contractor must conduct full FM testing including vibration, thermal vacuum, and bake-out campaigns. Place of performance is NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, with unit testing and integration scheduled July 1, 2027 through October 31, 2027. NAICS 334516.
