About this opportunity
The FDA Office of Product Quality and Research is seeking to procure an interface to integrate their existing Seg-Flow S3 (Flownamics) and Ultivo LC-MS (Agilent) instrumentation. The key requirements are that the interface must integrate communications between the two instruments to automatically coordinate in-process samples, schedule automatic sampling, and send samples to the Agilent LC-MS for real-time analysis. The interface must be compatible with the existing equipment and software, and include a sample interface kit to physically connect the instruments. The contract type is firm-fixed price, and delivery of all items is required within 120 days of award and before the end of fiscal year 2024.
This procurement has no set-aside designation, and Flownamics is identified as the sole source provider capable of meeting the requirements. The total estimated value is $45,388.93 with a 12-month period of performance. The place of performance is the Bioprocessing Lab at the FDA White Oak campus in Silver Spring, MD.
Notice text
FDA Office of Product Quality and Research require an interface to integrate our previously installed Seg-Flow S3 (Flownamics) and Ultivo LC-MS (Agilent). This system must integrate communications between both instruments and automatically coordinate in-process samples. Automatic sampling must be scheduled across multiple vessels and send in-process samples to our Agilent LC-MS for real-time analysis. This interface must be compatible with Seg-Flow S3, Ultivo LC-MS, and these instruments’ corresponding software. This interface shall include a sample interface kit (S3 Sample Dilution Module) to allow physical connection between the Seg-Flow S3 and Agilent Ultivo LC-MS via Sample Mod S3 or comparable module.
