Notice is amended as follows:
The purpose of this amendment is to change the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code in the body of the Synopsis from 445220 to 311712 (Fresh and Frozen Seafood Processing) with a size standard 500 employees. This acquisition has been changed to a Total Small Business set-aside. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page on www.fbo.gov for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov. Failure to register in CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in CCR at the time of award. The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is seeking a contractor/contractors with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capability to provide the labor, management and assorted seafood products necessary to support full service seafood markets in U.S. military commissaries. Solicitation HDEC02-10-R-0012 will be issued for these requirements on or about January 11, 2011. The solicitation will be available for download on the Internet at FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on its issue date.



Responses to this solicitation will be due no later than 4:00 p.m., EDT, February 11, 2011. Performance is anticipated to commence June 1, 2011. The base period of performance will be 24 months beginning on or about June 1, 2011, plus three 12-month option periods. A Fixed Price contract will be awarded.



For the purpose of this solicitation, there will be 18 commissaries in the US that will be grouped geographically into four groups (clusters). A complete listing of locations is listed below.
