About this opportunity

The Department of Homeland Security US Secret Service seeks rental of electric-powered first responder mini ambulances for West Palm Beach–area operations, with quotes due June 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM EST and questions due June 2, 2026. This is a total small business set-aside procurement.

Place of performance spans three South Florida locations: Location 1 (West Palm Beach) for seasonal 9-month rental (September–May); Location 2 (Jupiter) and Location 3 (Doral) on an as-needed basis. Equipment specifications require new units with 3 forward-facing seats, 7-foot by 2.5-foot cot deck stretcher capability, hard canopy tops, fold-down windshields, placard holders, tow bars, golf/turf tires, and batteries maintaining minimum 7-hour charge. Location 1 canopy color is beige or white; Locations 2–3 must be white. If delivery extends past the performance start date, offerors must propose an extra-long flatbed utility car with minimum 68.5-inch cargo bed as temporary replacement.

The contractor must provide normal service and maintenance, maintain active SAM registration, remain on-call throughout the rental period, and respond to service calls within 2 hours. All work requires COR-approved work orders before completion. The contract runs September 28, 2026, through September 27, 2027 (base year), with one option year. Pricing covers seasonal rental fees, as-needed deployments, emergency fees (less than 24 hours' notice), and cancellation fees. Award will be made on a lowest price, technically acceptable basis without discussion. Responses must include detailed item descriptions with photographs, the completed Price Worksheet (Attachment 1), a detailed service plan covering replacements and repairs, and the contractor's UEI. NAICS code is 532120 (Truck, Utility Trailer, and RV Rental and Leasing); PSC code is W023.
