About this opportunity

The Bureau of Land Management seeks to issue a firm fixed price contract for fire prevention messaging services to be advertised at gas stations and convenience stores across the Great Basin states. The purpose is to educate local communities and recreational visitors on public lands regarding wildfire awareness. A Request for Proposal will be released on August 26th soliciting proposals to utilize gas pump displays, in-store signage, and social media platforms to convey seasonal fire prevention themes. Proposals will be evaluated based on best value to the government with consideration of technical approach and price. Proposals are due by September 10th with award anticipated shortly after.

No set-aside designation was specified. As fire prevention services will be advertised at NAICS code 454390 (Other Direct Selling Establishments) locations across multiple states, it is likely the selected contractor will have experience utilizing commercial advertising venues for public education campaigns. However, the notice did not identify any incumbent contractors or provide budget details. The period of performance was also unspecified beyond requiring recurring fire prevention messaging.
