About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command's 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis AFB has issued a Special Notice for a Fire Department Scheduling and Equipment Tracking System. This notice indicates the government's intent to make a sole source award for web-based software to manage workforce scheduling and streamline routine inspections and maintenance for fire department vehicles. The system is needed to support 86 fire department members across 3 fire stations managing 18 vehicles through comprehensive scheduling and equipment tracking capabilities. The procurement falls under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) for single source negotiations, and this notice is not a competitive solicitation. The contract opportunity is classified under NAICS code 541519 for Other Computer Related Services and PSC category DA10 for IT and Telecom Business Application Software as a Service.

The primary objective is to obtain a mobile application and web-based system that provides uninterrupted access via cell phones and tablets for fire department operations, including shift scheduling across 3 shifts and 3 stations, time-off management, overtime tracking, and equipment inventory management. Interested contractors must submit capability statements by July 26, 2025, at 0800 AM PDT via email to designated Air Force contacts, including technical data, cost information, and convincing evidence of their ability to meet requirements. The system must offer secure cloud-based access, role-based permissions, real-time notifications, digital inventory checklists, and integration with Tablet Command/Incident Management platforms, with the application available through the Apple App Store. Contractors must demonstrate capability to provide 24-hour technical support, meet NFPA PPE standards, and support cradle-to-grave equipment tracking with automated maintenance request capabilities. The government retains sole discretion to determine whether to proceed with competitive or single source procurement based on responses received.
