About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Maxwell Air Force Base has a requirement for the procurement of a Cisco Catalyst 8300 Router to serve as the gateway server for the Field Assistance Service (FAS) Automated Call Distribution (ACD) phone system. The existing gateway server is at end-of-life and no longer approved for the Air Force network. The replacement Cisco Catalyst 8300 Router must meet technical, network, and security specifications, including Joint Interoperability Test, Evaluation, and Certification (JTIC) and Air Force Approved Product List (APL) approval. The acquisition will be conducted as a Firm-Fixed Price contract evaluated on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Quotes are due by 12:00 pm CST on September 20, 2024, and delivery of the router is required by September 30, 2024.
This procurement is set aside for Woman-Owned Small Businesses. The government has determined the Cisco Catalyst 8300 Router represents the best value consistent with FAR 8.404(d). Without this replacement, the FAS will no longer be able to field approximately 80,000 helpdesk calls per year in support of Air Force and DoD combat-related software systems. The place of performance is MAFB GUN ANNX, AL 36114, USA.
