About this opportunity

The Federal Emergency Management Agency published a Special Notice announcing their intent to award a sole source bridge contract to Torrent Technologies Inc. to provide continued contractor support services for the National Flood Insurance Program. This includes direct sales and servicing of Standard Flood Insurance Policies, Severe Repetitive Loss policies, and Group Flood Insurance policies.

The sole source award is intended to ensure service continuity for the NFIP Direct program while FEMA conducts an assessment to potentially migrate operational data and transition activities to a government location. The anticipated period of performance is one base period of nine months, with four six-month option periods and one three-month option period. Interested parties must submit capability statements by July 28, 2022 demonstrating their ability to provide the same services with minimal transition to be considered for a future competitive award. The contractor will facilitate property owners obtaining flood insurance directly from the government rather than through Write Your Own companies in support of key FEMA flood insurance programs and initiatives.
