The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network 16 (VISN 16), intends to solicit a Blanket Purchase Agreement for Automated Fecal Immunochemical Testing (FIT) for Occult Blood, including associated instrumentation, with a response deadline of June 16, 2026. The BPA covers a one-year base period with four additional one-year option periods and no anticipated set-aside.
Place of performance spans nine VA facilities across the South Central region: Alexandria VAMC (Pineville, Louisiana), Gulf Coast Veterans Healthcare System (Biloxi, Mississippi), Joint Ambulatory Care Center (Pensacola, Florida), Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (Fayetteville, Arkansas), Michael E DeBakey VA Medical Center (Houston, Texas), Jackson VAMC (Jackson, Mississippi), Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (Little Rock, Arkansas), SLVHCS New Orleans, and Overton Brooks VAMC (Shreveport, Louisiana). Most facilities operate 24/7 laboratory services; Pensacola operates Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m.–noon.
The scope includes instrumentation (primarily Polymedco Diana devices), reagents, collection packs, and consumables. Estimated annual volumes include 42,775 CPT units for standard Monday–Friday service and 4,050 units for 24/7 extended coverage, plus 5,731 custom personal collection packs. Pricing is firm-fixed across the base and option years. Offerors must provide unit pricing for CPT tests, collection packs, sample bottles, rebates, and thermal paper, along with field service engineer staffing plans including geographic coverage assignments for each facility.
