About this opportunity
The Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices, Office of International Affairs issued this Special Notice on February 26, 2026, to conduct market research for potential event production services supporting G20 Finance Track meetings during the United States host year. This is a Request for Information (RFI) and does not constitute a binding solicitation or commitment to award a contract. The government will not compensate respondents for their proposals or return submitted materials. The notice seeks information from qualified industry contractors regarding their interest, capabilities, and recommendations for designing and producing two major international finance events scheduled for 2026. An amendment issued on March 2, 2026, corrected a date discrepancy in the original document.
Interested contractors must submit responses by 12:00 PM EST on March 6, 2026, via email to designated Treasury representatives, with proposals limited to 10 pages and including company background, SAM UEID, CAGE code, GSA contract information if applicable, and relevant past work examples. The two events requiring production services are the Finance and Central Bank Deputies Meeting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (May 14-15, 2026) and the Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Asheville, North Carolina (August 29–September 1, 2026), each requiring comprehensive audiovisual equipment, lighting, decor, support facilities, interpretation services, and transportation arrangements. Contractors must demonstrate capability to execute multi-day, highly secure events with 500+ attendees without subcontracting more than 75% of work and preferably with prior federal contract experience. Eligible respondents include small businesses, 8(a) certified firms, HUB Zone businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, women-owned businesses, and small disadvantaged businesses, classified under NAICS code 561920 (Conference, Meeting, Event and Trade Show Planning Services) with a small business size threshold of $20.0 million.
