About this opportunity

The 3d Munitions Squadron at the Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces is seeking quotes for epoxy flooring installation at Building 18727 on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska, under RFQ number FA500025Q0066. The project has evolved from standard epoxy flooring to a more durable urethane cement/concrete coating system specifically designed for a maintenance bay environment where automotive work involves lubricants, brake cleaners, and solvents. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment necessary to prepare, install, and move equipment during the flooring work, including repairing floor cracks and divots, cleaning the area, and repainting safety markings around fire extinguishers and an eyewash station. The government will evaluate quotes based on both price and other factors to determine the most advantageous offer for a firm-fixed-price contract award. Written quotes referencing the RFQ number are due by September 26, 2025, and contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).

This procurement is set aside for total small business participation, ensuring opportunities are reserved for qualifying small business contractors. The project involves installing approximately 2,040 square feet of neutral-color, commercial-grade, non-slip flooring in the maintenance bay facility. Performance must be completed no later than March 15, 2026, providing contractors with a substantial timeframe for project execution. The work location is Building 18727 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, which requires contractors to obtain appropriate security clearances including contractor identification badges, vehicle passes, and potentially Anti-Terrorism Awareness Level I training for personnel without Common Access Cards. No incumbent contractor or specific budget range has been disclosed in the available documentation, though the government has provided pricing worksheets to facilitate accurate quote preparation.
