About this opportunity

The U.S. Embassy Bangkok is soliciting quotations for enterprise-grade network switching equipment with Power over Ethernet (PoE+) capability to replace end-of-life infrastructure supporting CCTV surveillance and electronic access control systems. Specifically, the Department of State seeks two Cisco Catalyst 9200 48-port PoE+ switches with Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliance and non-Chinese origin certification, along with associated components including two DNA Essentials 3-year licenses, two 4x10G network modules, two 1KW AC power supplies, and four 10GBASE-LR SFP modules. Vendors must demonstrate manufacturer authorization, distributor/reseller credentials in Thailand, and provide comprehensive technical documentation and warranty coverage including next business day hardware replacement and eight-by-five technical support. Award will be based on lowest price evaluation using FAR 13 comparative procedures, with all pricing submitted in Thai Baht and inclusive of labor, materials, overhead, profit, and transportation to the embassy. The deadline for submitting questions is March 16, 2026 at 15:30 PM Bangkok time, and quotations must be received by March 23, 2026 at 15:30 PM Bangkok time with submissions limited to 30MB file sizes in MS-Word, MS-Excel, or Adobe PDF formats.

This solicitation contains no set-aside designation and does not identify any incumbent contractors. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the available documentation. Key numerical requirements include the procurement of two network switches and associated components as specified above, with equipment delivery mandated within 45 calendar days from contract award. Vendors are responsible for all shipping costs, customs clearance, and related charges on a door-to-door, delivered duty paid basis. The place of performance is Thailand, with the equipment destined for the U.S. Embassy Bangkok, and all vendors must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission and complete a Cybersecurity Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM) Questionnaire as part of their quotation package.
