This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 811310 for Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The Federal Acquisition Regulation indicates the estimated project magnitude falls between $25,000 and $100,000, though this represents one of eight available ranges and does not necessarily reflect the actual budgeted amount. The anticipated performance period is 260 calendar days from contract award, with contractors expected to obtain any necessary permits and ensure full compliance with project requirements. Security clearance investigations may be required and could take 60 calendar days or longer to complete, potentially affecting project timelines. No incumbent contractor is identified in the documentation, suggesting this may be a new requirement or the first time this specific repair work is being contracted externally.
