About this opportunity

The U.S. Embassy Belmopan, under the Department of State, is soliciting quotations for the procurement of one electric forklift through Request for Quotations No. 19BH2026Q0007. The government seeks a Landoll Bendi Electrical Forklift Model Quad (4-Stage) Mast B40AC or brand name equivalent with a 4,000-pound capacity at 24-inch load center and 276-inch lift height, along with comprehensive training for ten designated employees on safe operation and OSHA-compliant procedures. Award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror without discussions, unless discussions become necessary with competitors in the competitive range. The evaluation will prioritize cost and technical acceptability, with the government reserving the right to award based on initial offers. The original proposal deadline of March 6, 2026, was amended to March 13, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. local time, and offerors must acknowledge receipt of Amendment A001 with their submissions to avoid rejection.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and is open to all responsible sources. The contract will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price purchase order and delivered to SUVI Global Services in Doral, Florida within 180 days of contract award, with the equipment ultimately installed at the U.S. Embassy Belmopan located at 4 Floral Park Road, Belmopan, Belize. The vendor must provide a complete charging station compatible with the embassy's 480/277-volt, 60Hz, 3-phase electrical infrastructure, along with operator and maintenance manuals, parts and service catalogs, and high-resolution product documentation. Warranty coverage includes one year or 2,000 operational hours for basic carriage-to-counterweight coverage and two to three years or 4,000 to 6,000 hours for powertrain coverage. All quotation costs, including labor, materials, overhead, profit, and transportation, must be submitted in U.S. dollars and included in a single firm-fixed price.
