About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation (SF-30 Form A001) issued by the American Embassy Belmopan on March 5, 2026, for solicitation 19BH2026Q0007 originally dated February 18, 2026. The amendment extends the proposal due date from the original deadline to March 13, 2026 at 12 noon local time. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to submission by completing and returning the form to BelmopanProcurement@state.gov, acknowledging receipt on each copy of their offer, or submitting a separate letter or telegram referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers. Failure to acknowledge receipt may result in rejection of the offer.

The amendment makes two substantive changes to the original solicitation. First, it modifies the delivery timeline in Section II (Delivery Location and Time) by extending the contractor's delivery obligation from 90 days after contract award to 180 days after contract award. Second, it adds a new Section F (Training) under the Description/Specifications/Work Statement requiring the contractor to provide comprehensive training for ten designated employees on electric forklift operation. The training must cover safe and proper operation procedures, workplace hazard recognition and mitigation, applicable safety protocols including personal protective equipment and emergency procedures, and practical hands-on exercises. Training must comply with all applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and be delivered by authorized, trained, and certified personnel at the U.S. Embassy Belmopan, located at 4 Floral Park Road, Belmopan, Belize.
