About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for Solicitation No. 19BH2026Q0007 regarding the procurement of an electric forklift for the U.S. Embassy in Belmopan, Belize. The document addresses clarifications from prospective offerors on three primary topics.
The first question concerns acceptable alternative equipment to the Bendi forklift, specifically an Aisle Master model with extended manufacturing and delivery timelines exceeding 90 days. The government confirmed that extended delivery times are acceptable and directed offerors to Amendment A001 for updated solicitation requirements. The second question addresses training requirements, with the government clarifying that in-person training must be conducted at the final destination of U.S. Embassy Belmopan, located at 4 Floral Park Road, Belmopan, Belize, rather than in Florida or through virtual materials. The third question pertains to electrical specifications for the charging infrastructure at the embassy location. The government confirmed that the power source is 480/277 volts at 60Hz with a 3-phase charging station, establishing the technical requirements for any proposed electric forklift solution.
