About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command seeks to procure and deliver hardware, equipment, and associated components to establish a compliant SIPR (Secret Internet Protocol Router) classroom environment in Building M1404 at Maxwell AFB supporting the Thunderbolt II initiative, with quotes due September 17, 2026 at 3:00 PM CST and questions due September 14, 2026 at 1:00 PM CST. This is a 100% small business set-aside restricted to open market quotes; GSA and GWAC quotes are excluded.
Place of performance includes Building M1404 at Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 for IPS secure containers, and Maxwell ADP Warehouse, Building 1154, 455 South Kelly Street, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 for network switches and associated equipment (ADPE Account BOSY, CSRD 2026-00086).
The procurement requires eight contract line items totaling 37 units: seven Secure KVM Switches; four Cisco Network Switches (Part Number C9200-24P-4G-A++); four GSA-approved IPS Secure Containers; two TACLANE SM Optics modules; four one-foot red CAT6 patch cables; twelve fifteen-foot Cat6 shielded network patch cables; four 1U Quickport 24-port patch panels; and four 120V PDUs with specified outlet configurations. Equipment must support secure, dual network (NIPR/SIPR) operations. A Determination & Findings document establishes sole-source justification for Cisco equipment under FAR 11.204(a)(2)(ii) Brand Name authority, citing AFNET standardization on Cisco infrastructure and interoperability requirements with GEMSS licensing systems.
The contract is Firm-Fixed Price. Evaluation is technical acceptability (pass/fail) and price; award will be to a single contractor without discussion unless discussions are determined in the government's best interest. Offerors must register in SAM.gov, hold the NAICS code 541519, submit signed quotes on company letterhead with unit and extended pricing, provide written technical statements confirming adherence to requirements without exception, provide realistic delivery dates, and complete Section 889 compliance certifications. Price quotes must remain firm for 30 calendar days from receipt.
