About this opportunity
The 413th CSB within the Army Contracting Command is seeking qualified vendors to supply components and repair parts for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) through a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The procurement encompasses both critical components—such as flight controllers, GPS units, electronic speed controllers, motors, batteries, cameras, sensors, and ground control equipment—and non-critical components including fasteners, adhesives, and assembly tools. Vendors must ensure compliance with National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) standards for cybersecurity and platform compatibility, though items on the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Blue List will be procured directly through DCMA channels and need not be provided by vendors. At this pre-solicitation phase, the government is gathering information on vendor capabilities and market availability rather than evaluating formal proposals; detailed specifications, pricing, and Bills of Materials are not required at this stage. The deadline for responding to this Sources Sought notice is January 27, 2026, just seven days from the posting date of January 20, 2026.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting eligibility to qualified small business entities. No incumbent contractor or current contract values have been identified in this pre-solicitation notice, as the government is still in the preliminary phase of assessing vendor capabilities and finalizing requirements. The government has not disclosed specific annual quantity estimates, noting instead that estimated quantities are preliminary and subject to change; vendors are encouraged to provide information regarding production capacity and scalability to demonstrate their ability to meet potential demand. The attached reference documents—"Drone Salient Characteristics" and "Drone Questions from Industry"—provide examples of acceptable components across five primary categories and clarify that the listed examples are not exhaustive, allowing vendors to propose similar or equivalent items that meet mission requirements. Interested companies should submit basic company information, point of contact details, UEI or CAGE Code, core competencies, and a capabilities statement addressing their UAS experience and potential product offerings.
