About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District seeks to award a one-year contract with four optional one-year extensions for drift debris removal services within a 50-mile radius of its Washington, DC Field Office. The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, staffing, supervision, materials and supplies to remove debris, including trees, creosote logs, pressure treated lumber, propane tanks, docks, vessels, fenders, appliances, barrels, tanks, buoys, and tires, from shorelines and parking lots on an as-needed basis. The contract will be awarded to the responsible small business offering the lowest price that best meets the government's needs. Questions are due by April 13, 2023 and offers are due by May 1, 2023.
This solicitation is set aside for total small business and restricted to firms with a NAICS code of 562119, waste collection, with a size standard of $41,500. Interested parties must register in the System for Award Management and may visit the designated site on April 25, 2023. The place of performance will be within 50 miles of the Washington, DC Field Office located at 1125 Water Street SE. The base period of performance is one year with four optional one-year extensions. There is no incumbent contractor.

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial services prepared in accordance with the
format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) sub Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information
included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued.
FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular
(FAC) and are available in full text through Internet access at http://www.acquisition.gov/far

within a 50 mile radius of the Baltimore District, Washington DC, Field Office (1125 Water Street, SE, Washington,
DC 20003).
This solicitation will result in one award based on lowest price technical accepted as best meets the needs of the
Government. The proposed contract will have a period of performance of 1 year from date of award, with four
optional yeatrs.
Site visit is not mandatory for award. The Government will not reimburse any cost incurred.
The proposed contract is restricted to the Small Business Set Aside Program All responsible, qualified small
businesses may submit an offer which will be considered by the Baltimore District Corps of Engineers. The North
American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562119 with a size standard of $41,500.00, PSC code
S205. Offerors shall be registered at the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) to be eligible for award.

registering are on the website.
The Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, staff, labor, supervision, materials, and supplies to complete
the Project.
