About this opportunity
The Army Materiel Command Contracting Command at Picatinny Arsenal seeks to award a fixed price contract to provide maintenance and repair services for six crash barriers located at three entrances to the Devens Reserve Forces Training Area in Massachusetts. Offerors must demonstrate experience maintaining similar safety and security infrastructure and submit pricing for the base period of September 2023 through June 2024 as well as four option years. Proposals are due by August 22, 2023 and will be evaluated based on price, technical approach, and past performance.
This requirement is set aside for small businesses and has an anticipated total value between $250,000 and $500,000. The contractor shall inspect and service the barriers on a monthly basis and respond to all maintenance needs within one week for the duration of the base year plus four option years exercisable at the government's discretion. The barriers are located at the USAG Devens RFTA Main Entrance, South Post Main Entrance, and the 3400 Area Main Entrance in Ayer, Massachusetts. This requirement is for maintenance and services to maintain the existing six crash beams located at the USAG Devens RFTA Main Entrance, South Post Main Entrance, and the 3400 Area Main Entrance. A service contract is needed to maintain the systems and ensure they remain operational in an effort to avoid costly repairs in the future due to neglect. The system must remain operational to maintain the current force protection posture they provide. Please see the attached Solicitation document and the Performance Work Statement for more details regarding this requirement.
