About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Philadelphia District is soliciting firm fixed-price service quotes for inspection, testing, and certification of the firefighting system aboard the Dredge McFarland. Quotations will be evaluated based on three primary criteria: technical capability to meet the agency's needs, price, and past performance. The government reserves the right to conduct a price realism analysis and may reject proposals determined to be unrealistically low, as they may indicate insufficient technical understanding of the work requirements. All quotes must be submitted electronically through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) no later than March 26, 2026, and offerors are responsible for monitoring SAM.gov for any solicitation amendments or responses to industry questions. Submission via email, facsimile, regular mail, hand-delivery, or any other method will not be accepted.
This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, making it available exclusively to small business concerns. The place of performance is located at 6400 Hog Island Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19153. The solicitation was posted on March 9, 2026, providing interested offerors with a 17-day response window.
