About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation has released a Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Landing Gear Collaborative Supply Chain Integration II (LG-CSCI2) program. This special notice is intended to facilitate stakeholder feedback during the acquisition planning phase, with an official RFP anticipated for early 2026. The DLA, in collaboration with the 417th Landing Gear Supply Chain Management Squadron and the Enterprise Hill Commodity Council, is soliciting vendor input to refine the acquisition strategy and improve the eventual solicitation. This is classified as a Total Small Business set-aside opportunity. Respondents should note that this draft announcement does not constitute a government commitment to award a contract, and the government will not reimburse costs associated with preparing responses or attending related conferences.

The primary objective of this special notice is to gather industry feedback that will enhance the clarity, practicality, and overall quality of the formal RFP. Interested parties must submit their feedback by December 12, 2025, and should actively monitor SAM.gov for future updates and the official RFP release. The eventual award will be a single contract with a five-year base period and a five-year option period, for a maximum ten-year duration. Eligibility is limited to small businesses, as indicated by the Total Small Business set-aside designation. The initiative builds upon lessons learned from the original Landing Gear Collaborative Supply Chain Integration program to provide improved readiness support for Air Force fleet landing gear spare parts across multiple weapon systems.
