Proposers must be able to provide Type III and Type IV aircraft, pilots, maintenance, and support equipment from bases on the East Coast, West Coast, Hawaii, Japan, and worldwide as needed. Evaluation criteria will include past performance, management approach, and price. The pre-solicitation notice lists important dates of November 13, 2023 for questions and November 15-16, 2023 for optional one-on-one vendor sessions.
The anticipated single-award contract has no set-aside designation listed. The primary NAICS code is 488190 for other support activities for air transportation and the primary PSC code is likely V998 for simulation/training services. The incumbent contractors are unspecified but likely include companies such as Draken International and Tactical Air Support, Inc. Based on the requirement for multiple aircraft, support equipment, and worldwide services for four years, the potential award value is estimated to exceed $100 million.
