About this opportunity

This draft pre-solicitation notice seeks scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services for the Federal Aviation Administration's fleet of Bombardier Challenger 600 series aircraft. The FAA requires program management support, scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, engine overhaul services, travel reimbursement, auxiliary power unit services, avionics maintenance, and aircraft on ground support. Responders must have facilities approved to service Bombardier, General Electric, and Honeywell systems and hold applicable certifications. The agency is seeking industry questions on the draft solicitation documents by December 22, 2023.

There is no set-aside designated for this potential award. The NAICS code relates to aircraft maintenance and repair services, while the PSC code involves aircraft overhaul and conversion services. The incumbent contractor provides similar services for the agency's aircraft fleets. The potential contract would have a one year base period and four one-year options, thus spanning five years of maintenance program support. Pricing templates in the documents did not include estimated values due to the agency's intent to establish pricing through competition.
