About this opportunity
The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) has released a Draft Request for Quotation (RFQ) for an Enterprise Ticketing System targeting the National Archives in Washington D.C. and Presidential Libraries. This special notice is being provided for informational purposes only and is not yet a final solicitation. The draft RFQ seeks a Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) cloud-hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) solution that will consolidate existing ticketing systems into a single, configurable platform. The system is intended to support onsite and online sales, individual and group reservations, resource management, and reporting capabilities. The initial deployment is planned for Archives I by March 1, 2025, with the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum to follow by September 30, 2025.
Contractors interested in this opportunity should note that NARA is not accepting quotations or proposals at this stage, but is seeking feedback, suggestions, and questions by 3:00 PM ET on November 18, 2024. The solicitation is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 541519, which means only small businesses are eligible to compete. The government will make an award based on best value, with pricing requested for fixed-price services, SaaS licenses, operations/maintenance, and onsite hardware. Optional requirements are included for the remaining seven Presidential Libraries, providing potential for expanded scope. Interested contractors must carefully review the draft RFQ documents, particularly the various appendices covering system development lifecycle, IT security requirements, accessibility standards, and other critical technical and operational specifications.
