About this opportunity
The Special Notice was published by the Department of State (DoS), Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), Office of Aviation (Air Wing), and announces an upcoming solicitation for worldwide aviation support services. The Air Wing is hosting an Industry Best Practice Conference to conduct market research and seek industry input as it prepares to solicit sources for future aviation support to execute various missions globally, including counter narcotics, host nation training, maritime interdiction training, counter terrorism, embassy support, and other rotary wing, fixed wing, or Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) operations.
The purpose of the Special Notice is to provide advance notification of the upcoming solicitation and gather industry feedback. The Air Wing plans to award a multiple award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with separate large business and small business pools, with a total contract value range of $5B to $10B over the contract life. An industry conference is scheduled for October 28, 2024 in Melbourne, Florida, where the Air Wing will present an overview and offer one-on-one discussions. The Air Wing is seeking input on the IDIQ model, capabilities, innovations, risk mitigation strategies, and approaches to ensure continued operations across multiple contractors.
