About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy has published a Special Notice to provide an annual forecast of its anticipated petroleum acquisitions for fiscal year 2025. The notice covers bulk & PCS, IntoPlane, Bunkers, and Non-Contract procurements, with a total estimated quantity of 83.44 million barrels.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform potential offerors of the general types and quantities of petroleum products that DLA Energy expects to procure in FY2025. This allows for a reduced solicitation period, as low as 10 days, for acquisitions covered by trade agreements. The notice outlines the forecasted quantities across the different petroleum categories, though specifies that these are estimates only and contractors should refer to individual solicitations for precise quantities. This Special Notice serves to prepare the contractor community for upcoming DLA Energy petroleum procurement opportunities in fiscal year 2025.
