About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center intends to solicit Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering Services on the General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule Information Technology Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity as a Service vehicle as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside on or about the week of August 31, 2026. This is a market-research RFI with a response deadline of August 26, 2026 at 1:00 PM Eastern Time.

Offerors must hold an active GSA Multiple Award Schedule contract with Special Item Number 54151HACS to be eligible for award; Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses without an existing GSA MAS Schedule may participate through an SBA-approved mentor-protégé joint venture arrangement if either the prime offeror or the JV entity itself holds the required SIN. The Government has clarified that this acquisition will not include product purchases and does not anticipate inherent organizational conflicts of interest with existing Cyber Security Operations Center-Next Generation (CSOC-NG) Support or Transformation Support Services (TSS) contracts, though OCIs will be evaluated case-by-case.

The requirement is classified under NAICS 541512 (Computer Systems Design Services) with a $34 million size standard. Place of performance is the Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center, Eatontown, New Jersey. The anticipated contract period consists of a 6-month base period, four 12-month option periods, and four optional tasks. RFI responses are limited to 10 pages with no marketing materials or generic capability statements; vendors must address capabilities specific to the attached Performance Work Statement. No incumbent contractor is identified. Points of contact are Contracting Officer Mina Awad (Mina.Awad@va.gov) and Contract Specialist Erin Butler (Erin.Butler3@va.gov).
