About this opportunity
The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is seeking qualified sources to digitize historical handwritten and typed ledgers as a one-time purchase order. The ledgers range from approximately 15" x 10" to 12" x 7" and average around 200 pages each. The digitization must be performed off-site using only flatbed or overhead technology without automatic feeders, as the documents are fragile. The digitized files must be delivered in TIFF and PDF/A formats with specified naming conventions. Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be used to make appropriate acquisition decisions, and a solicitation announcement may be published on SAM.gov and/or GSA eBuy at a later date.
If the VA's pending market research determines that two or more Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) can perform the work at a fair and reasonable price, the underlying solicitation will be set aside for these categories. The NAICS code for this opportunity is 561410 Document Preparation Services with a size standard of $19 million. The VA has not provided any information about potential incumbents or the estimated value of the contract.
