U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is seeking dentention management services in Southern Florida to include an existing facility dedicated to accomodate up to 700 low and medium low security level detainees in ICE custody, all personnel, management, equipment, supplies and services.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a written solicitation will not be issued. Proposals are being requested in accordance with Section L by no later than 1PM EST June 3, 2014.
Questions and/or clarification regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing in accordance with Section L by no later than 12PM EST on May 12, 2014.
All questions pertaining to the publication of this synopsis shall be submitted in writing to Ms. Robbi Gregg via email to robbi.gregg@ice.dhs.gov.

ICE is seeking an existing facility. New construction will not be considered. The facility must be able to accommodate 700 low and medium low level detainees under ICE custody. Non-ICE detainees shall not be housed in the proposed facility.
The solicitation will be issued electronically on an unrestricted basis as Request For Proposal HSCEDM-14-R-00002 on or about APRIL 30, 2014 via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available, therefore no written, telephone or facsimile request for the documents will be accepted. The solicitation closing date will be 30 days after the release of the RFP. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System Award Management System at www.sam.gov.
The Government anticipates awarding a 6-Year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to include a 30-Day Transition Period, 11-Month Base Period and five 12-Month Option Periods. The resultant contract shall be subject to the Service Contract Act.
