About this opportunity

Naval Air Systems Command, through Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE), invites industry to an Industry Day and Site Visit on December 8-9, 2026, ahead of a Depot Level Maintenance Support requirement that the Government intends to solicit as a Competitive 8(a) Business Development Program Set-Aside. Firms must register by 14:00 Eastern on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, by emailing company information, attendee names, and base access requirements to Jason Mosher (jason.s.mosher.civ@us.navy.mil) and Christine Butler (Christine.w.butler2.civ@us.navy.mil). The event provides an overview of FRCE's depot-level maintenance, repair, and overhaul requirements and early engagement before solicitation release. Day 1 (December 8, 0830-1630 EST) covers check-in, badging, a welcome briefing, and facility tours at MCAS Cherry Point and the North Carolina Global TransPark in Kinston, held at Jerry Marvel Training & Education Building (Building 4335). Day 2 (December 9, 0800-1600 EST) offers 45-minute one-on-one capabilities and Q&A meetings by appointment. Contractor representatives must be U.S. citizens and provide valid picture identification. Each firm must submit a signed letter on official letterhead requesting access to MCAS Cherry Point and FRC East, listing visitor names, dates of birth, proof of citizenship, and visit duration. Participants supply their own hearing and eye protection, and closed-toe flat shoes are mandatory in the production area. Photography and recording devices are prohibited. The Government will not reimburse participation costs, and the notice does not constitute an RFP or promise one.
