About this opportunity
Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center intends to solicit a three-year service contract for Depot Consumable Parts Processing & Disposal (DEMIL) support services, with a Contractor Capability Survey due July 6, 2026. No set-aside has been applied; the Government will determine final contracting strategy after evaluating small business responses and demonstrated capabilities.
Work is performed at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, specifically at the WR-ALC Workload & Analysis Branch, Building 2316. The contractor will collect, stage, process, and transport non-serviceable and condemned parts from maintenance operations to staging and ultimate delivery to Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Service. Work hours are 0600 to 1430 EST Monday through Friday.
The contract requires approximately six full-time equivalent personnel across three labor categories: three Material Handlers (WG-6907-8 equivalent), two Supply Clerical and Technical staff (GS-2005-7 equivalent), and one Contractor Supervisor (WG-6907-9 equivalent). Material Handlers must operate heavy equipment including forklifts with 10,000+ pound capacity, verify shipping documents and Joint Certification Program compliance, and resolve database errors. All personnel require airfield driving authorization per AFI 13-213, Government-Furnished Training completion, and valid AF Form 483 certificates. The contractor provides vehicles, Material Handling Equipment, personal protective equipment, and maintains a comprehensive DEMIL Operations How-To Guide.
Period of performance consists of a basic 12-month period plus two optional 12-month periods. Performance thresholds include no more than two validated customer complaints monthly, 90 percent staffing levels, and thirty-day vacancy filling. The Government has proposed NAICS Code 484110. Responses to the Contractor Capability Survey should be submitted to Tad Williams (tad.williams@us.af.mil) or Jania Clater (jania.clater@us.af.mil).
