About this file

This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for a market research initiative to identify potential contractors for Depot Consumable Parts Processing & Disposal (DEMIL) support services at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. The Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is seeking contractors to provide collection, staging, processing, and transportation of non-serviceable and condemned parts from maintenance facilities to staging areas and ultimately to DLA Disposition. The requirement involves approximately six full-time equivalent personnel across material handling, supply clerical, technical, and supervisory roles at the WR-ALC Workload & Analysis Branch. The anticipated contract structure is a three-year service contract consisting of a base year plus two optional one-year periods.

Interested contractors must submit responses to the Contractor Capability Survey by close of business on July 6, 2026, via email to Tad Williams (tad.williams@us.af.mil) or Jania Clater (jania.clater@us.af.mil). The survey requires detailed business information, past performance on similar projects, specific capabilities related to material handling, processing, transportation, staffing, training, and compliance with OSHA, DOT, and DoD safety regulations. The Government has proposed NAICS Code 484110 (General Freight Trucking, Local) and encourages responses from small businesses, joint ventures, and teaming arrangements. No set-aside decision has been made; the Government will determine the final contracting strategy after analyzing small business responses and demonstrated capabilities. The contract is unclassified, and participation in this market research does not guarantee participation in the formal solicitation or contract award. The Government will not reimburse participants for survey participation expenses.
